Note (General): [小山台遺跡(1)〜(50) 要約] 小山台遺跡は、柏北部東地区土地区画整理事業地の東端に位置し、利根川と地金堀の開析谷に挟まれた標高16ｍ〜18ｍの台地上に立地する。立川ローム10層から3層にかけて6枚の文化層が検出された。79か所の石器集中地点が検出され、5766点の石器が出土した。第1文化層（10ｃ層上部〜9層下部）は、3か所の石器集中地点と台形様石器が出土した。第2文化層（9ａ層上部〜7層下部）から検出された環状ブロック群は、円環部・中央部・外部の3つのブロック群で構成され、長径70ｍ×短径50ｍの大規模な分布をしている。第3文化層（7層上部〜6層）は、11か所の石器集中地点が検出された。有樋石刃・ナイフ形石器を主体とし、下総型石刃再生技法による石器群が出土している。第4文化層（5層〜4層下部）は、26か所の石器集中地点が検出された。ナイフ形石器・角錐状石器・掻器を主体としている。礫群を伴っている。第5文化層（4層上部〜3層下部）は、15か所の石器集中地点が検出された。ナイフ形石器・尖頭器・彫器を主体とし、砂川期相当の石器群が出土した。第6文化層（3層上面）は、3か所の集中地点が検出された。野辺山型の細石刃石核を有する石器群が出土した。
