Note (General): [佐是城跡要約] 城域ほぼ全体の測量と200?程の発掘調査（確認調査）の報告である。佐是城跡は養老川中流の左岸を臨む標高50ｍ〜60ｍの台地上に立地する。戦国時代真里谷武田氏関連の城に推定される佐是城跡は、東西450ｍ・南北650ｍの範囲で台地地形に占地し、大きく5郭に分かれ、構造から16世紀後半と推定される。主郭の西側にあたる2郭の寺院境内で実施した発掘調査では、弥生時代から古墳時代後期の集落のほか、中世盛り土、近世井戸状遺構が検出されたが、中世遺物は羽口のみであり、中世城郭内の建物や生活は当地点では存在しなかったことが推測される。　 [岡本城跡要約] 城域ほぼ全体の測量と200?程の発掘調査（確認調査）の報告である。岡本城跡は東京湾を臨む標高20ｍ〜66ｍの安房丘陵の尾根先端部に立地する。戦国時代後半の里見氏の本城である岡本城跡は、東西600ｍ・南北300ｍの範囲で尾根部が狭小な丘陵地形に占地し、主郭（1郭）周辺中心に多くの腰曲輪を配置する構造で、居住の場は中腹以下の腰曲輪に推測され、一部では石塁や水堀も確認できた。発掘調査では、1郭上で掘立柱建物跡と共に史実に一致する16世紀後半の陶磁器類が多く出土し、主殿的建物の存在が推測される。
