Note (General): 本報告では、①弥生時代後期の炭化米、②７世紀代の集落、③鍛冶炉、④道遺構が主な報告内容である。①炭化米については、県下でも出土例が少なく、また、出土状況から収穫後の稲の保管状況に言及できる可能性がある。②・③７世紀代の集落は、竪穴建物から掘立柱建物への居住形態の変遷が追え、鍛冶を伴っていることもこの集落の特徴である。当該期の鍛冶炉の調査事例は県下では乏しく、また、鍛冶滓の分析で、鉄製品と共に青銅製品が製作されていた可能性が指摘されている。④道遺構は、本遺跡の東に位置する多肥北原西遺跡から連続する溝群で、道遺構の側溝である。
