この毎戸地区は後方に鳶山を背負い、東と西を丘陵に囲まれた扇状地で、北から南に向かって緩やかに続く斜面上に位置している。調査の結果、この地は弥生時代から中世までの複合遺跡で断続的に利用されていたことが分かった。とくにⅡ区・Ⅲ区の調査で西側の丘陵上には８～10世紀中頃の遺跡がある可能性が高いことが分かり...
