大山山塊から渋田川の支流が形成した、東面する扇状地上の南側縁辺部に位置し、上杉定正館跡に比定される遺跡である。今回の調査では該当する居館跡の存在を示唆するような遺構は検出されていないが、中世における扇状地一帯を対象とした造成の痕跡が認められた。弥生時代～古墳時代では、扇状地上の集落が本調査地点まで広...
