西浦遺跡は、埼玉県東松山市下野本地内に所在し、都幾川の沖積地に面する低台地上に立地する。今回の調査によって、調査区の北半部から竪穴状遺構や、土壙、ピットが検出された。第16・24号土壙からは銭貨や金属製品が出土し、墓跡の可能性がある。また、いくつかのピットからは礫や板状の石が検出され、根石の可能性が...
