Note (General): 唐古・鍵遺跡北西部の環濠帯とみられる地区で実施した115次調査では、弥生時代中期前葉～中葉の方形周溝墓２基を確認し、唐古・鍵遺跡のこの時期の墓域の一部を確認することができた。また、中期中頃以降は環濠帯となったとみられるが、多数の木製品や自然遺物が出土した。この環濠は弥生時代末頃まで再掘削により維持されたとみられ、最上層からは庄内式並行期の小型器台等が出土した。羽子田遺跡第38次調査では、重要文化財埴輪牛が出土した羽子田１号墳の南側隣接地で方墳２基を確認した。うち１基の周濠最上層は平安時代頃まで開口していたとみられ、須恵器三耳壷がほぼ完全な形で出土した。このほか、鎌倉時代頃の大溝は屋敷地に伴うものとみられ、付近の小字名「織田垣内」は中世に屋敷地だったことの影響とも考えられる。
