Note (General): 本書は、唐津市内における開発等に伴い唐津市教育委員会が平成9年4月から平成10年3月にかけて実施した、唐津市内遺跡の確認調査報告書である。調査は19遺跡26地点において実施した。今回の調査で良好な遺構または遺物を確認できたのは3遺跡であった。（野原遺跡）　2か所のトレンチより包含層が良好に遺存していることを確認した。遺物はナイフ形石器、細石刃などが出土した。（東谷山遺跡）　1トレンチより、5世紀代の土師器が出土する不明土坑を検出した。この土坑は、マウント状に版築で築かれた盛土を掘りこんで設けられていた。その盛土の遺存が部分的であったため築造の目的については不明瞭であるが、古墳に関係するなんらかの祭祀遺構である可能性が考えられる。（神田中村遺跡）　弥生・古墳時代には集落を形成していたと考えられる遺跡である。流れ込みの堆積土より弥生土器・土師器が出土した。遺跡本体は丘陵上に存在すると考えられる。
