Note (General): 今回の調査は、上端幅1.8ｍ、総延長400ｍの細長いパイプライン設置に伴うものであったが、上面では中世の耕作に伴う遺構が、下面では縄文時代から古墳時代にかけての自然流路や落ち込み状遺構などを検出した。　和泉地域では泉佐野市三軒屋遺跡・船岡山遺跡B地点、堺市上遺跡にて、突帯文土器（長原式）と弥生時代前期新段階の土器が共伴し、弥生時代前期古・中段階の土器と共伴する近畿地方中心部との違いが指摘されてきた。今回の調査でも、この時間的併行関係を補強する資料をえることができた。
