Note (General): 今回の調査では古墳時代前期の竪穴建物・溝、古墳時代中期の須恵器が多く出土した落込み、平安時代初頭の井戸、中世の溝群などを検出した。　古墳時代前期の建物は南側調査区の6区において4棟検出した。これまで当遺跡では古墳時代前期の集落域が不明であったが、今回の調査でその位置が明らかになった。また竪穴建物の壁溝から石製腕飾類の石釧が出土したことは注目に値する。　調査地の北端、2区では古墳時代中期の須恵器が一括投棄された落ち込みを検出した。この落ち込みはこれまでの調査で明らかになっている同時期の祭祀遺構と関わるものとみられ、井尻遺跡のなかに祭祀空間があったことを裏付ける。　平安時代初頭の井戸は調査区の北端、2区において2基検出した。このうち1基は横板組の井戸枠を有していた。またほぼ調査区全域で12世紀から15世紀の溝群を検出した。
