- 出版タイプ： NA加茂遺跡発掘調査報告書の第３冊で、第６次調査（2000年）の成果を所収した。加茂遺跡では、既往の調査で検出した遺構の延長接続部分を確認した。上層では、大溝から古代Ⅵ期（9世紀末～10世紀前半）の土器とともに加賀郡牓示札（第5号）を含む2点の木簡が出土した。また、主要地方道高松津幡線の東側でも新たに古代Ⅵ期の掘立柱建物を含む遺構が確認でき、古代北陸道から東側では9世紀後半～10世紀代の遺構群が主流になっていく様相を窺うことができる。下層では弥生時代後期後半～古墳時代初頭の平地・竪穴建物や溝等が確認できた。 加茂遺跡の南西低丘陵上に位置する加茂ツチグラ遺跡では、弥生時代後期～終末期の「高地性集落」を検出した。50基以上の竪穴建物、土坑等が確認でき、竪穴建物の中には鉄製品の出土とともに、小規模な鍛冶を想起させるような焼土遺構も見ることができた。かほく市～津幡町の低丘陵上にはこうした高地性集落の検出例が近年増加しており、本例は比較的規模の大きい調査例として重要である。
