津雲貝塚は大正時代に170体あまりの縄文時代の埋葬人骨が出土したことで知られる。縄文時代の研究に関して、これまで人骨そのものも含め、埋葬や抜歯のあり方、人骨が身につけていた装身具、縄文土器など多岐にわたる資料を提供してきた。しかし、貝塚の範囲や墓域以外の遺跡の状況については不明のままであった。 　今...
