Note (General): 飛鳥時代～江戸時代までの遺構と遺物を確認した。遺構や遺物の出土から、7世紀後半～8世紀の古代集落の存在が想定される。中世後期に遡る側溝を伴う道を1条確認した。道に取り付く区画溝や側溝から出土した土師質土器・鍋類の出土量の多さから、中世の引間宿の一角である可能性が考えられる。近世では17世紀～19世紀半ばまでの遺構が検出され、東海道の経路変更後の引間宿の衰退、近世城下における一般農村から、耕作地へと変遷していく過程を確認できた。
