Note (General): 今回の調査では、最終遺構面において縄文時代晩期中葉から末にかけての自然流路を検出した。この流路が、その形成初期から廃絶後の古代（飛鳥・奈良時代）に至るまでに及ぼした地形的な規制とそれに伴う遺構の変遷を、第10a面から第12面までの遺構面で確認した。　第10a面以降すなわち、古代から中世末期に至るまでは、旧恩智川の流路が人工的に成立し、条里地割が採用された結果、各時代で水田区画に変化がみられることを確認した。
