Note (General): 国庫補助事業として仙台城跡第35 次、36 次、37 次調査を実施した。調査の結果、第35 次調査の登城路跡では、2 時期の硬化した整地面を確認した。これらは登城路の路面であると考えられる。路面下には、豊富な湧水を処理するための暗渠や石組溝跡も見つかった。第36 次調査の三の丸土塁では、2 時期と考えられる石列遺構を発見した。土塁上面にあった塀の基礎と考えられる。また、遺構の検出状況から、土塁が一度かさ上げされていることも明らかとなった。第37 次調査の沢門下石垣の測量では、石垣の現況のデータを得ることが出来た。このことにより、平成16 年度に行った測量成果と比較することが出来るようになり、震災による影響が少なかったことが明らかになった。
