Note (General): 本遺跡は旧白金御料地遺跡（港区№67）であり、遺跡の種別としては、中世の包蔵地として登録されている。調査地点周辺は江戸時代には讃岐高松藩松平家下屋敷が所在していた。また、明治時代になると藩邸跡地は海軍火薬庫として使用され、その後陸軍火薬庫として大正２年（1913）まで存続した。大正10年（1921）には朝香宮邸として分譲された。　この遺跡は平成22年～平成26年にかけて都合７度の発掘調査が行われており、遺物としては縄文時代早期～後期の土器、近世の陶磁器、近～現代のガラス製品・銃弾等が出土している。主な遺構としては、近世の土坑・ピットの他、中世に遡る可能性がある溝が見つかっている。　今回の調査においては、レストラン地区からは近世以降の配石、溝、土坑、ピット等が出土し、胞衣埋納遺構が５基検出された。遺物では、硝子製の簪・笄、装飾を施した煙管の出土が特筆される。また、海軍・陸軍の火薬庫の時代の銃弾が５点出土した。樹木移植地区からは縄文土器が14点出土し、縄文時代には小支谷が存在していたことが確認された。
