Note (General): 今回報告する２遺跡は、根木名川に合流して利根川に流入する尾羽根川を望む北岸台地先端部に位置する。　浅間台古墳は墳丘径9.2ｍ×7.5ｍのやや不整な円形を呈し、墳頂部に木棺直葬と思われる埋葬施設が設けられる。古墳の築造時期は、出土した土器から、５世紀後半頃と想定される。竪穴住居跡は１軒検出され、古墳の周溝に切られていることから、古墳より古い時期となる。　野毛平高台遺跡では、古墳時代中期～後期の竪穴住居跡49軒及び中・近世の火葬墓10基などが検出された。古墳時代の竪穴住居跡から、炉からカマドへと変化する集落の様相が明らかとなりました。
