朝倉盆地の北東部、多岐川扇状地の扇端付近から頓田川の河岸段丘にかけて立地する。弥生時代前期末～中期初頭と中世の遺構が大半を占める。 　弥生時代前期末～中期初頭は遺構の分布密度が低く、建物跡も検出されていないことから集落の縁辺部に相当すると考えられる。これ以降は遺跡を河川堆積物が覆い、中世に再び集落が...
