Note (General): 41トレンチの調査で敷石状遺構、岩盤削出堰堤、水路状遺構が検出された。敷石状遺構は岩盤削出堰堤の西側、池部西岸の地山上に貼り付けられた敷石で、護岸などの役割を持っていたと考えられる。　岩盤削出堰堤は貯水池の池部と水路部とを分ける部分であり、また池部から水路へ水を流す際に水量と水流を調整する役割を果たしていたものである。　水路状遺構は２本検出し、西側のものを第１水路、東側のものを第２水路とした。第１水路は鉄砲水などによる礫の堆積で埋没したため、第２水路が造られたものと考えられる。第２水路は大きく３つの部位に分けることができ、水路内に開渠状遺構などを設け、水路を流れる水の水量、水流を調整していたことが判明した。　また、排水施設の推定箇所が確認できた。残念ながら当時の状況を復元できる状態ではなかったが、おそらく近くに散在する大型礫を積み上げた水門が存在したものと考えられる。
