Note (General): 守山区上志段味地区に所在する志段味古墳群は、県内有数の規模を誇る古墳群で、古墳時代の全時期を通して、前方後円墳から円墳、方墳まで規模・形の異なる古墳が山頂、山麓、段丘といったさまざまな地形に築造されている。　本報告書は、保護活用をすすめるために、志段味大塚古墳はじめ６古墳の調査を実施した成果を記載した。　志段味大塚古墳は、復元整備の資料を得るために実施し、墳頂部にも埴輪が樹立していることなど新たな知見を得た。勝手塚古墳は、墳丘テラスにおける埴輪の状況や県内唯一残る周堤の状況について把握することができた。また、白鳥古墳群では５号墳・６号墳が古墳であることを確認し、墳丘規模や埋葬施設についての情報を得た。
