Note (General): 本遺跡は、地金堀とその支流により開析された標高12～17ｍの低地上にある。旧石器時代は遺物集中地点が35か所検出され、Ⅱ層～Ⅸ層までの７文化層に比定される。縄文時代は竪穴住居跡８軒・陥穴３基・土坑３基が前期黒浜式期のもので、これらは遺跡の北側と中央やや南側の２地点に離れて検出された。古墳時代の遺構はすべて中期前半のもので、遺跡北西側の第32次調査地点でのみ検出された。中・近世は遺跡の中央やや南側の第１・８・14・15・19次調査地点で掘立柱建物跡や地下式坑・井戸・区画溝などの屋敷跡が検出された。また、遺跡北側の第25次調査地点で検出された溝から肥前系や瀬戸・美濃系陶磁器や在地産の内耳土器・カワラケ・灯明皿など多種多様な遺物がまとまって出土した。
