Note (General): 旧石器時代の遺物は５文化層から検出され、定型的な石器は乏しいものの、北関東産の石材を多用する傾向が認められた。縄文時代の遺構は前期中葉、後葉、後期初頭、前葉の４時期に分かれる。前期中葉は南側台地を中心に小規模な集落が形成される。前期後葉と後期初頭は小規模な遺構群が局所的に構築されるが、後期前葉になると環状集落が展開する。奈良・平安時代の遺構はごく散漫な分布である。中・近世の遺構は15～16世紀を中心とする塚、土塁、台地区画整形を中心とする遺構群が検出された。
