Note (General): 中野遺跡は、旧石器時代から近世までの遺構が検出される複合遺跡である。今回の第 109 地点での調査では、南側に隣接する第 95 地点での調査成果を裏付けるべく、段切状遺構 5 ヶ所、土坑墓 6 基、地下式坑 3 基をはじめとした中世段階の遺構の広がりを確認した。また、第 49 地点他に次いで４例目となる石器集中地点が確認された。出土した石器は微細な剥片が多く、接合関係が認められることから本地点において石器製作ないしは加工を行っていたことが想定される。
