Note (General)：: 姫路市内で馬車道をターゲットとした初めての発掘調査である。後世のかく乱を大きく受けていたものの、路面・路盤・石組側溝が良好に確認でき、マカダム式舗装とされる馬車道の一端を明らかにすることができた。
