Note (General): 第35・36次調査に引き続き、鞠智城跡の南東に位置する深迫門跡を発掘調査した。　第37次調査では、門道から北側土塁にかけて柱穴を検出した。柱間距離は不規則である。しかし、２段階の柱配列が考えられる。　第36次調査で検出した３段の石積みの性格は、不明な点が多い。しかし、第37次調査の結果、北側や南側土塁の基底石や土塁前面の敷石とは様相が異なることが判明した。深迫門周辺の地業に伴うものと推定される。また、３段の石積みの上部の版築は、門道の改修に伴うものと考えられる。　南側土塁は、階段状に地形を造成してから版築していることが判明した。
