Note (General): 〔腰折 1 次調査〕　6 世紀～ 7 世紀に築造された古墳 4 基（腰折古墳 1 号墳～ 4 号墳）が見つかった。1 号墳～ 3号墳は横穴式石室、4 号墳は小さな石室で形態は不明である。このうち 1 号墳からは、県内でも出土例の少ないヒスイ製勾玉、碧玉製平玉、琥珀製平玉が出土した。このほか、2号墳では「木炭床」と呼ばれる遺構が見つかった。全国的にも珍しく、松山市では瀬戸風峠 4 号墳に次いで 2 例目の発見である。〔腰折 2 次調査〕　6 世紀～ 7 世紀に築造された古墳 3 基（腰折古墳 5 号墳～ 7 号墳）が見つかった。5 号墳は横穴式石室、6・7 号墳は石室形態不明で、石室内からは副葬品の土器・鉄器・装飾品などが出土した。このうち 5 号墳からは、子持ち高坏 2 点や鉄製楕円形鏡板付轡のほか、水晶製勾玉や切子玉、碧玉製平玉や管玉のほか、ガラス玉などの装飾品約 300 点以上が出土した。
