Note (General): [中恋路遺跡要約] 　中恋路遺跡は、山口市北東部の宮野盆地にあり、椹野川左岸地域に広がる、標高約43ｍの谷底平野上に位置する集落遺跡である。今回の調査では、古墳時代の竪穴建物跡、古代・中世の掘立柱建物跡、土坑、溝などが検出された。出土遺物は、古墳時代中・後期のものと思われる土師器や須恵器、古代・中世の土師器、瓦質土器、輸入陶磁器などである。また、古代の掘立柱建物は、棟方向や出土遺物から、条里制に伴うものであり、大型の建物は、柱穴の形状や柱痕跡の配置から当時の有力者の建物であったことがうかがえる。　また、中世の掘立柱建物は、柱穴からの出土遺物や、周辺の遺構から出土した京都系土師器皿などの遺物から、大内氏との関連があるものと考えられる。
