Note (General): 田屋遺跡内の東部にあたる約5,600㎡の発掘調査を行った。調査区南部の2-2 区・2-3 区では、自然流路・低湿地に挟まれた微高地に集中して竪穴建物を検出した。こうした建物の分布は島状の微高地に集落が展開していたことを示している。また、調査区北部の3 区・4 区では、時代ごとに方向の異なる溝を検出した。これらの溝のうち、古墳時代までのものは旧地形の起伏に沿い、古代以降のものは条里型地割に基づいて形成されていると考えられる。
