Note (General): 田子山遺跡は志木市本町に所在し、今回の調査が第 131 地点となる。検出された遺構は縄文時代の土坑４基、弥生時代の住居跡１軒、古墳時代後期後半～奈良・平安時代の住居跡４軒、掘立柱建築遺構 1 軒、溝跡２条、土坑４基などである。出土遺物は検出れた各遺構の時期の土器であり、なかでも古墳時代後期・平安時代の遺物が主体となり、住居跡からの出土が中心である。調査区南北に走る平安時代の溝跡が 2 条検出され、両者の距離が離れているが南北にほぼ同じ軸向きを示し、全長約 80m の溝跡が確認された。近隣の調査区でも溝跡が出土していることから、調査区東側が何らかの区画溝の内側である可能性がある。
