Note (General): 柏北部東地区遺跡群は、古常陸川南岸の柏・我孫子低地と手賀沼水系の地金堀に挟まれた標高16ｍ～18ｍの台地上に立地する。一部の遺跡については、西側に接する常磐自動車道建設に先立ち調査を行っている。　花前Ⅰ遺跡は、常磐自動車道関連調査部分の東に隣接する部分で、縄文時代前期の竪穴住居、奈良・平安時代の掘立柱建物、近世の鍛冶遺構などを検出した。黒浜式期の竪穴住居は貝ブロックを伴っており、サルボウ・ハマグリを主体とした貝類を出土している。掘立柱建物の周囲からは、土師器・須恵器の他、鉄滓・炉壁などの製鉄関連遺物も出土している。　駒形遺跡で確認された遺構は、縄文時代前期の竪穴住居１軒の他、炉、土坑などである。　富士見遺跡では、東側の駒形遺跡と隣接する部分から、縄文時代前期の集落及び遺構内貝層が検出された。　原畑遺跡では、縄文時代前期の竪穴住居１軒、遺跡中央から高田台牧関連の野馬土手・野馬堀、遺跡東端で小山台遺跡から続く近世の道路状遺構を検出した。　寺下前遺跡では、現況の道路下部分から中世の地下式坑、台地整形、近世の溝状遺構などを検出した。
