Note (General): 今回の調査地点は山王遺跡の南端付近にあたり、周辺では弥生時代から中世の集落が確認されている。地表から約70cm で遺構検出面であるローム面となる。ローム面の標高は約5.8m で、南から北に向かって低くなっている。検出した遺構は弥生時代から中世の竪穴建物・溝・土坑・井戸・ピットである。調査区内は以前の建物によって大きく破壊されている。竪穴建物の遺存状況は悪く、いずれもコーナーや壁溝など部分的にしか残っていない。弥生時代の土坑・井戸、古墳後期頃の溝、中世の井戸等を検出した。　弥生時代後期の井戸の底からは小型仿製鏡（内行花文鏡）が出土した。井戸の祭祀に伴うものと思われる。
