Note (General): [金堀遺跡要約] 一宮川上流の河岸段丘に位置し、古墳時代の竪穴住居跡2軒と奈良･平安時代の溝1条、奈良･平安時代以降の道路状遺構1条が検出された。近接の遺跡からも奈良･平安時代の遺物が比較的多く検出されており、この地域の段丘上平坦面は、集落地として利用されていたとみられる。遺構は緩斜面のため、一部が削平されて消滅している。出土遺物に、弥生時代後期〜古墳時代、古墳時代後期、奈良･平安時代の遺物が見られることから、河川の氾濫原に面した段丘上の平坦面には長期間にわたり集落が営まれてきたことが窺える。
