Note (General): 令和５年度の第２回現地説明会資料。　後方部墳頂では江戸時代徳川光圀の命で行われた調査に伴う盛土層を検出した。　西くびれ部・東くびれ部前方部側では地山削り出しの墳丘斜面を確認した。転落した葺石の出土状況から前方部上段には葺石が施されたが、下段にはされなかったと考えられる。　後方部東側の調査では裾部を確認し、後方部東西幅が約58.6ｍであることが判明した。
