東郷遺跡は弥生時代の集落跡として知られる遺跡であるが、今回の調査では当該時期の遺構は確認できなかった。一方で中世以前と考えられる土坑や溝、柱穴などを多数検出しており、周囲に集落があった可能性がある。また、南北に延びる溝を検出しており、溝の東側では遺構数が極端に少なくなることから、集落の区画溝等の可能...
