Note (General): 富沢遺跡は、仙台市南部の仙台市太白区富沢・泉崎・鹿野・長町南にわたって所在する遺跡で、名取川と広瀬川に挟まれた標高約9～16mの群山低地に位置する。　今回の調査では、基本層3、4、6a・6b、11、18層を水田土壌とする水田跡としたが、3層と6a・6b層上面でのみ水田を区画する畦畔を確認した。周辺調査区の層位と比較した場合、確認した各水田跡の時期は弥生時代～近世のものと考えられる。確認した畦畔は、周辺調査区で復元されている条里制地割に伴う畦畔と関連する可能性が考えられるが、調査区に限りがあったため、明確な区割りを復元するには至らなかった。また3層上面では溝跡1条を確認したが、調査区内及び北壁面で確認することができなかったことから、溝跡の規模や機能については明確にできなかった。
