遺跡は、帯広駅から南22km ほどに位置し、帯広空港の南側に隣接する。恵庭a テフラ(Ena)を母材とするEn-a 古砂丘堆積物の上位から有舌尖頭器石器群、下位かつ支笏第1 テフラ(Spfa-1) を母材とするSpfa-1 古砂丘堆積物の上位から不定形剥片石器群が検出された。　有舌尖頭器石器群に伴う炭化物集中(CC-1) は14C 年代値で17,820 ± 50 ～ 18,030 ±60yrBP、暦年代値で21,409 ～ 22,131cal BP(2σ) に位置づけられ、LGM Cold-2 に相当する。有舌尖頭器は基部側縁が擦り潰される「立川型」で、多数の基部破片が出土し、折れ面には「基部抜取剥離痕」が残るものがある。彫器・彫器削片は非黒曜石製がほとんどで、皮革加工・骨角加工に使用され、前者から後者への形態変化が確認された。遺跡で行われた石器の剥離作業は、搬入された両面調整体の加工が主体で、サイズの異なる両面調整体をそれぞれ一段階進行させ、搬出される。黒曜石は十勝三股・置戸所山産が主体で、白滝産が少量含まれる。炉の周辺では、石器加工、皮革・骨角加工、粉砕による顔料精製が行われる。　不定形剥片石器群は14C 年代値で25,680 ± 90 ～ 25,740 ± 90yrBP、暦年代値で29,871 ～30,162cal BP(2σ) に位置づけられ、道内で最古クラスである。遺物は少なく、十勝美蔓産転礫素材の剥片が特徴的で、泥岩製の剥片剥離も行われる。　両石器群とも石材産地から離れた消費地遺跡としての性格が強く表れている。
