Note (General): 本書には、四條畷市清滝の平尾家旧蔵文書のうち、平尾兵吾氏収集文書の報告を掲載する。平尾氏の収集文書は元禄五年の高槻藩領寺社改帳、御知行所寺社并名所家数帳、佐太天神諸書物写など北河内全般にかかわる史料や隣村北条村の諸事書上控・村絵図など、四條畷市域以外の重要文書とみられるものも若干含まれるが、そのほかはほぼすべて現四條畷市域の岡山村・南野村・中野村・逢坂郷・上郷にかかわる文書である。収集文書は村々にとって重要なものを含み、ひとびとが地域の中でどのような歴史を歩み、どのように生活していたかを顧みるうえで貴重な史料を含んでいる。
