Note (General): 大高城跡は、永禄3（1560）年「桶狭間の戦い」で松平元康（徳川家康）が兵糧の運び入れを行った城跡として知られる。国史跡　大高城跡　附　丸根砦跡　鷲津砦跡の保存活用計画策定に向けた内容把握のために調査を実施した。　戦国時代の堀が確認され、この堀が「桶狭間の戦い」時に機能していた可能性があることが判明した。堀の規模は幅約15m深さ4m以上で、堀埋土から15世紀半ばから16世紀半ば頃の土器・陶磁器類が出土した。本丸（主郭）は灰白色粘土による盛土で造成されていることがわかった。丸根砦跡、鷲津砦跡の地形測量成果も合わせて掲載した。
