Note (General): 本報告は、東京都市計画道路補助線街路第85号線（赤羽台II期）幣備事業に伴う埋蔵文化財調査で、道合遺跡の第 10 次調査である。道合遺跡は、武蔵野台地北東端のいわゆる「赤羽台」に位置する。道合遺跡では旧石器時代～近代にいたるまで連綿と土地利用がなされ、今回の調査では縄文時代後期前葉の土坑、ピット、弥生時代の住居跡、近世以降の溝、畝跡・ピットが検出されている。縄文時代の土坑やピット内には貝層が堆積しているものもあり、またピット内に人骨が埋葬されているものも検出されている。弥生時代の住居跡からは直口壺の口縁部～頸部の破片が出土した。
