Note (General): 2010（平成22）年度、2011（平成23）年度に渡り、個人住宅建設に伴う発掘調査を行った。調査が行われたのは、1985（昭和60）年以来である。調査地点は、空中写真から判断すると、グスクの外側となっている。遺構として、石列、貝溜り、焼土、建物跡、土坑墓、柵列、円弧状遺構などが検出された。遺物として、土器や、青磁などの陶磁器類、金属製品や鍛冶関連遺物、石器などが出土している。特記事項として、埋葬人骨において乳幼児が多いことがあげられるほか、唐代の鏡片、平安時代の鏡片が出土しており、これらの地域から鏡を入手できる状況や活動があったことが窺い知れる。また、赤土による造成が行われ、柵列を設けるなど、平坦な場所の拡張および、内外を隔てる状況が確認できる。このほか、精錬鍛冶炉を囲む建物跡が検出されたほか、鍛冶関連遺物も多数出土しており、鍛冶が盛んに行われていた様子が窺い知れる。
