Note (General): 検出された遺構は石列1基、石垣1基、土蔵の土台石2基、開渠遺構1基の計5基であった。掘削範囲は、旧来も道路部分であったか、遺跡搭載前の近・現代における開発工事等で遺構が消滅したため、検出遺構が少なかった可能性がある。遺物は、中世～近・現代まで幅広い年代のものが出土した。15～16世紀代の遺物としては、小片のため図示できなかったが中国龍泉窯系青磁の小皿や、瀬戸・美濃産陶器の大窯期の製品など、福山館築城以前＝大館期に帰属する遺物がある。16世紀末葉～17世紀前葉の遺物は、中国景徳鎮窯系青花・漳州窯系青花、瀬戸・美濃産陶器の登窯期の製品、肥前産陶磁器がある。17世紀中葉～18世紀前半の遺物は、肥前産陶磁器の寡占状態となり、わずかに須佐唐律播鉢のように特定器種がみられる。 18世紀後半～19世紀初頭の遺物は肥前産磁器が中心となり、組物や色絵皿などの高級器種がみられる。19世紀前葉～中葉の造物は肥前・肥前系磁器に加え、瀬戸の新製焼が多くみられる。また、わずかに箱館焼や、中国清朝磁器、ヨーロッパ磁器が含まれる。陶器では、播鉢・甕などの雑器を中心に、肥前・瀬戸・美濃・備前系・東北系地方窯の製品がみられる。瓦は産地不明の燻瓦、越前瓦の出土量が多く、石州瓦はわずかしかみられなかった。
