2019年12月3日から6日に行った筑波大学集中講義（対象は学部4年生）の講義ノートである．この講義ノートでは集合と群の定義を既知とし，群が集合に作用している場合を扱う．対象となる集合はベクトル空間やそこから派生してくる空間であり，対象となる群は行列で表示される群である．群作用の軌道全体のなす空間が明示的に表示できる具体例を扱う．行列の階数や簡約化，Cauchy-Schwarzの不等式もこの視点から見直す．目標はWirtinger不等式を紹介し，証明を与えることである．予備知識は集合，群，ベクトル空間，内積，Hermite内積などである．学部4年生から大学院への数学の橋渡しになる講義を目指した．
