本研究では、核酸がその構造上にリン酸残基をもつ高分子物質であることに着目し、アミノ化セルロース粒子を核酸吸着剤として応用することを試みた。初年度は核酸(DNA)選択吸着能に及ぼす粒子の細孔径（Mlim）およびリガンドの化学構造の影響について調査した。主に、種々のポリカチオン固定化セルロース粒子を調製し、得られた粒子を吸着剤として用い、バッチ法により、標準核酸およびたんぱく質に対する吸着能について評価した。最終年度には、カラムクロマトグラフィー法により、注射用粗精製タンパク質水溶液からの核酸の吸着除去を試みた。
