佐田富教授が発明された管内に球状物体を挿入したマイクロバブル発生装置は、マイクロバブルの発生だけでなく、流体の組み合わせを変えることにより、霧状の液滴（ミスト）の発生という観点から、殺虫剤・消毒剤・空気清浄剤・消臭剤の噴霧といった工場・病院あるいは農業など、他の用途への応用可能性を持つ。そこで、本研究では、その応用例として加圧空気流により水を吸引して液滴を噴霧する実験を行なった。円筒パイプ内径、球状物体に対する吸込み穴の管軸方向位置、穴の大きさを様々に変え、吸水流量、消費空気動力、噴霧発生効率などの性能を実験的に調べた。以下にその結果を報告する。
