本研究はCPU 等の各種電子機器の冷却のための熱交換器やマイクロリアクタ等の気液二相を利用したデバイスを対象とし，マイクロ流路（500 μm 以下）での気泡挙動を制御することを目的としている．そこで，流路形状や液物性値（表面張力，粘度等）がマイクロ流露内の二相流動に及ぼす影響を調べた．円形と矩形のマイクロ流路，物性値の異なる各種液を用い，流動様式，気泡速度，気泡長さ，ボイド率と圧力損失を測定した．そして，それらのデータを記述するモデルを得た．
