人の健康管理や医薬品開発用実験用動物の生体情報モニタリングへの応用をめざして、人あるいは動物の個体識別符号（IDコード）を識別し、その心拍、呼吸、体温の情報をオンデマンドでかつリアルタイムに計測し、それらをデータ読み取り装置へ無線で送信できる超小型のRFIDタグ（無線個体識別ICタグ）を研究開発し、そのICチップと実装基板のプロトタイプを試作して、所望の諸機能を実験で確認した。
For applications to human health care or biomedical information monitoring ofexperimental animals, a small-sized RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tag withfunctions of on-demand real-time measurement of heart rate, respiration, and bodytemperature has been developed. The desired performances have been confirmed throughexperiments of test-fabricated IC chips and printed boards.
