タンデム環化反応とは一度環化反応が開始された後、続けて次から次へと分子内環化が起こる反応のことであり、有機環状化合物を合成する効率的な手法として重要である。そこで本研究では酢酸マンガン(III)による酸化的ラジカルタンデム環化反応を用いた新規プロペラ型複素環化合物やシクロファン型大環状化合物合成の開発を行った。プロペラ型複素環化合物や大環状化合物は生理活性や薬理活性が期待され、構造的にも興味がもたれる。
Tandem cyclization is a successive intramolecular cyclization when the cyclization is once started, and important for the synthesis of organic cyclization compounds as an efficient synthetic technique. In the research project, the synthesis of novel propellane-type heterocyclic compounds and cyclophane-type macrolides using manganese(III) acetate-based oxidative radical tandem cyclization was studied. The biological activities and physicochemical interests of these compounds are expected.
