概要バイオブリケット(バイブリ)製造機を瀋陽市環境科学研究所に設置して、1998年9月より運転を開始した。予備実験ではあるが、バイブリの燃焼で発生するSOxは1/3程度に低減し、今後脱硫率70～80%を達成する目途がついた。また発煙性も著しい性能を期待できることが目視により判明した。バイオブリケットの灰(バイブリ灰)がpH10程度の強アルカリ土壌の改良にも適用できる見通しがあり、一度散布すると土壌改良効果が3年以上継続する見通しが脱硫石膏および半乾式脱硫灰によるアルカリ土壌改良実験の結果より得られた。PH8.5以下の土壌を対象とした防風・防沙林育林の見通しが康平県林業局との討論で得られ、バイブリ灰による沙漠化防止に向けて実験を開始する準備が整った。
