クロムは耐摩耗性、強酸化性など優れた特徴を有し、代替のできない必要不可欠な機能性材料として多くの産業に利用されている。本研究では、生物由来（体内にクロムを集積する性質をもつ原生生物ミドリゾウリムシ）のクロム吸着性物質を同定および精製する事を目的とした。本研究の成果として、クロム未処理と処理ミドリゾウリムシから各々抽出したタンパク質を電気泳動法により比較した結果、両者の泳動パターンに相違が見られた。今後、発現量に差のあるタンパク質のアミノ酸配列・遺伝子配列の解析を行う必要がある。
