乱流モデルのLESにおいて, 乱流中に普遍的に存在するコヒーレント構造をもとにした壁モデルの開発を目的として, 速度勾配テンソルの第2不変量で抽出した渦構造を無次元化したコヒーレント構造関数の性質を調べた。一様等方性乱流のみならずチャネル乱流においても, 同関数の平均値, 分散, 確率密度関数にレイノルズ数依存性がなく, 壁からの距離のみに依存することから, 壁モデルへの変数として利用可能であることが分かった。
